Breianna Harris, LCPAT, ATR-BC
Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist
Board Certified Art Therapist
I firmly believe in the inherent potential for growth within every individual, regardless of age or past experiences. I also recognize that our defenses are often shaped by our past experiences, influencing how we behave and interact with others. In my approach, I utilize the therapeutic relationship to focus on the present moment while processing past experiences.
My primary objective is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their inner worlds. As an art therapist, I incorporate art as a supplementary mode of communication during therapy sessions. Our past experiences significantly shape who we are, and by processing these experiences in a constructive manner, we can gain deeper self-understanding and lead healthier lives. Art provides an alternative means of expression, particularly when verbalizing difficult emotions or experiences is challenging.
